Workshops on the Regional Women Development Agenda Framework
PSYDEH and indigenous women staff and partners will soon complete a series of 28 workshops designed to increase understanding around our unprecedented Regional Development Agenda framework formulated in late 2014.
Workshop goals are three.
First. Regional Organization leaders will network with and organize indigenous women and girls, including those who will serve as leaders of local organizations of Acaxochitlán, Tenango de Doria, Huehuetla and San Bartolo and the Regional Cooperative.
Second. We deepen understanding on each of the seven chapters of the Agenda framework (we facilitate four workshops on each chapter in each of the four target municipalities):
- Education
- Justice and Human Rights
- Health
- Economy
- Gender Equality
- Environment
- Citizen Participation
Third. We foster learning and sharing with an eye to indigenous women leaders
- formulating project ideas to be pursued by the Advisory Board Network in 2016 and
- preparing for their 2nd annual Regional Public Forum of Indigenous Women Leaders on November 25, 2015 where they will:
– issue informed regional development policy recommendations to government and
– create an informed actionable agenda.
